Let's just get real about this ~ recycling has been driving me insane! Why? Because all of the crushed 2 litter bottles, broken-down cardboard boxes, glass wine bottles, and so on were going into the floor in the garage. Making the garage total chaos and, essentially, turning it into a dump. Grrr! I really just wanted to pick up every piece and throw it away! In fact, I did a couple of times. I would feel relieved that the stuff was out of my house, but guilty that I had just taken the easy way out and increased my footprint on the earth. It also made me realize just how much trash we generate and that we really should be more responsible about it. More than ever, it was time to get the recycling organized so that it could be processed efficiently.

That looks so much better! It will keep the ants out too.
love it, we just switched to the big black bins last month and it makes all the difference
We are required to recycle as well. The sanitation department provides us with one red bucket about the size of your bin to hold all of our recycle items.
It hardly ever really large enough for all of our recyclables.
I believe the sanitation department sorts it for us. I really like you solution though. It keeps everything neat and organized.
Thanks for commenting on my tackle.
Oooo...I love that idea!! Great tackle!
